Project Logistics Business Analyst

This role is responsible for transforming operational data into meaningful insights through dashboards, reporting, and analytics, while identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

How you create impact

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of operational data.
• Develop, maintain, and automate operational reports and dashboards.
• Produce regular reports covering:
• Shipment performance
• Warehouse operations
• Site activities
• Financial performance
• Operational KPIs
• Monitor reporting accuracy and proactively resolve data discrepancies.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources to provide meaningful business insights.

Data Visualization & Business Intelligence

• Design interactive dashboards and visual reports using business intelligence tools.
• Translate complex datasets into clear and actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Support management with ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests.
• Identify trends, patterns, and operational risks through data analysis.

Process Improvement

• Analyse operational workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Recommend and support data-driven process improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with operational teams to improve reporting accuracy and business performance.
• Support continuous improvement projects by providing analytical insights and performance tracking.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and other business functions to understand reporting requirements.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
• Support stakeholders with data interpretation and reporting best practices.

What we would like you to bring

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines:
• Data Analytics
• Business Analytics
• Statistics
• Mathematics
• Computer Science
• Industrial Engineering
• Information Systems or other related fields

Experience

• 2 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting.
• Experience within Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation is highly preferred.
• Experience in Manufacturing or Oil & Gas industries will be considered an advantage.
• Experience developing dashboards and business reports for operational functions.
